Modern, comfortable lifts provide access to 130 km of perfectly groomed slopes, bathed in sunshine and surrounded by the Dolomites. Cosy mountain huts, spectacular views and the Piz Sorega snowpark complete a winter experience for everyone, from expert skiers to beginners.
Just 3 km from San Cassiano lies the Alta Badia – Armentarola cross-country centre, with 25 km of trails set among forests at the foot of Conturines, Lavarella and Settsass. The tracks, prepared for both classic technique and skating, are suitable for all levels. Even when snowfall is limited, artificial snowmaking ensures perfectly groomed trails, offering a peaceful way to experience the mountains in silence.
In San Cassiano, one of the most enjoyable winter experiences awaits: the toboggan run that descends from Piz Sorega down to the village, over 1,500 metres of pure fun. The ride through snowy forests alternates smooth stretches with playful curves, delivering excitement and carefree moments to share together. Pure fun guaranteed!
On the snow-covered meadows of Armentarola, just a short distance from the centre of San Cassiano, well-maintained and clearly marked trails wind through the landscape, ideal for winter walks, Nordic walking and snowshoeing.
