Our FAMILY Farmhouse
Our FAMILY Farmhouse
There are memories that belong to the heart, and others that images are able to preserve and tell over time. The Plang farm has lived many lives: from the days when it was the beating heart of agricultural life, to its rebirth as a place of hospitality. Every corner holds memories, every stone speaks of passion, love for the land and a deep family bond. Looking at these images, you can sense how tradition and values can evolve without ever losing their truest authenticity.

A century-old tradition
The Plang Farmhouse has always remained in the hands of our family for over two centuries. A bond that in South Tyrol is recognised as a valuable heritage, a symbol of continuity and respect for the land. Originally built as an agricultural shelter, the farm was the centre of daily life, between fields, stables and shared work.
TODAY
Over time, the farm has been able to evolve: first a hotel, then a guesthouse and finally a B&B, adapting to change without ever losing its identity. Between 2017 and 2018, together with Norbert, Plang experienced a new rebirth: new rooms were created, the apartments were renovated, and a vision for the future took shape—while remaining deeply rooted in rural life, nature and Ladin tradition.
The story of our family
The Plang Farmhouse is a story of family, tradition and love for our land. From grandparents Giuseppe and Caterina, to Norbert, who in 2015 took over the farm together with his wife Angela. Every gesture, every smile, every carefully prepared dish reflects our dedication and sincere desire to welcome, share and offer authentic experiences. Here, hospitality becomes an embrace that comes from the heart.
Among the authentic rhythms of farm life, a sincere and genuine hospitality is born: animals in the barn, homemade cakes, jams and preserves prepared according to tradition. An experience deeply rooted in Ladin culture and the warmth of home. An authentic, “da ciasa” welcome, deeply connected to Ladin culture.
From the meeting of two people who chose to walk through life together, something special is born every day. We are Norbert and Angela: united by our passion for life on the farm and for our land, we have created a place in Alta Badia where every guest is welcomed as part of the family. Every gesture, every smile, every carefully prepared dish reflects our dedication and sincere desire to welcome, share and offer authentic experiences. Here, hospitality becomes an embrace that comes from the heart. It is a hospitality preserved and passed down from generation to generation, which today continues to live on in the Rudiferia family, keeping the values of the past intact. It is a legacy made of simple gestures and genuine care.
Today more than ever, simplicity and nature play an essential role. In a fast-moving world, here you rediscover the value of time, calm and genuine things: the silence of the mountains, the authentic flavours of tradition. Embracing all this means slowing down, observing and letting yourself be carried by a more natural rhythm that restores and reconnects.
